Back in the 1970s, sophisticated office technology was not only in its infancy, but also beyond the useful reach of most businesses in Puerto Rico. In 1976, Eulogio Villena and his associates set out to change that by creating a company focused on providing customized solutions for various industries using the limited computer technology available at that time. This focus on individualized needs and technological innovation quickly earned SYSTRONICS its reputation as a leader in office automation systems.
In 1985, Villena took the Hato Rey based company to the next level by uniting with Canon office products to become Canon’s exclusive representative in Puerto Rico. This alliance not only allowed the company to become the island leaving office products solution provider, it also enabled its customers to keep pace with the latest developments in office technology, including innovations in full color copiers, digital and laser technology, and much more…
Systronics was established in 1976 with just one product and 5 employees. Realizing the specific needs of the diverse office environments, we were able to transform into one of the leading local technology companies – classified year after year in the “Caribbean Business Top 300”
